Anysti DEIA Policy

Last Updated: 07-06-2025

Welcome to Anysti’s DEIA ("Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility") Policy. This unified statement reflects our unwavering commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment for everyone—regardless of ability, identity, or background.

Our approach blends accessibility best practices with modern diversity and inclusion principles, acknowledging that true equity requires intention, empathy, and action. This is not just a policy—it’s a promise.

  • 🌍 Inclusive by Design: We follow WCAG 2.1 AA standards to ensure our digital experiences are intuitive and accessible for all users.
  • 🧠 Lived Experience Matters: Our leadership includes individuals with disabilities and diverse identities who shape our platform with care.
  • 📜 Guided by Law, Led by Compassion: While we respect standards like ADA, ADAAA, and the Missouri Human Rights Act, we choose to lead with empathy.
  • 🤝 Equity & Belonging: Everyone deserves to feel seen, supported, and safe — whether you’re a user, volunteer, or team member.

Our Promise

At Anysti, accessibility isn’t a checkbox — it’s a foundation. DEI isn’t a trend — it’s a responsibility. Together, they form our vision for a future where dignity, empathy, and opportunity are not optional, but standard.

Designing for Everyone

Inclusive Culture

We welcome every person — regardless of race, gender, orientation, age, or ability. We ensure that recognition, opportunities, and representation are distributed fairly. We celebrate differences and empower individuals to bring their full selves to the community.

Accessibility in Practice

We test and improve regularly. We train our team to design inclusively, write clearly, and support users compassionately. We also encourage feedback to guide our improvements.

Empowered by Experience

Our commitment is personal. Our CEO lives with PTSD, DID, and anxiety. Our Co-Founder is proudly autistic. These lived experiences shape how we serve and build for our community. Empathy isn't a feature — it's our core.

Volunteer Equity

Volunteers are the heartbeat of Anysti. We offer accommodations, honor lived experience, and foster belonging at every level. No matter your ability or identity — you are valued, seen, and supported.

Safe and Fair Spaces

We have zero tolerance for discrimination, bullying, or harassment. We address all concerns swiftly and respectfully. Everyone deserves to thrive without fear.

Training and Growth

Our team undergoes regular training in accessibility, inclusive language, bias awareness, and culturally-informed leadership. Growth is expected — and supported.

Extend Our Impact

We partner with diverse-owned vendors, uplift marginalized creators, and support representation at every level — from product design to storytelling.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback, concerns, or accessibility needs, and are just one email away.

Support is available Mon–Fri, 10AM–6PM CST/CDT, and closed on weekends, holidays, and the 14th of each month.
